Greenwich Village is known worldwide as a bohemian incubator of radical intellectuals, radical performers and radical political activists. This exhibit looks at some of that history. What’s left when a great writer moves to another place? Not much, but we can examine the door he or she walked through every day, try to imagine what the neighborhood was like at the time, knowing that the real legacy is in the work.
