I grew up on the western shore of the Hudson River in a small town about 50 miles north of New York City called Cornwall, New York. I recently graduated from Hunter College in Manhattan, where I double majored in History and Religion.
My primary scholarly interests are in 17th-century Dutch New Amsterdam and the history of American Christianity. I am a research and editorial assistant at a historical editing project, The Jacob Leisler Papers Project, which collects, transcribes, translates, and preserves documents surrounding the intriguing late 17th-century historical figure, Jacob Leisler. I am also interning this semester at the New York Transit Museum Archives, where I am helping to catalog a collection of photographs of trolley accidents from the early 20th century.
I look forward to beginning my first year in the Archives concentration of the Archives and Public History MA Program at NYU.
